Playing with Lube

Playing with Lube

When you want to spice up your sex life, try creating lube cocktails. You can mix some of your favorite flavors to create your own lube flavors and then go to town. Check out the team at Sensually Yours Honolulu while we test some of the lube cocktails recipes that System Jo created.

This isn’t going to be your typical boring blog post about what types of lubes there are and when to use them. I’m assuming you have used before and you know water-based lube is easy to clean because it’s water soluble and silicone lasts longer because it’s well … silicone. Which also means you need soap and water to clean it off. And, you should use lube whenever one of you in the room (or plane bathroom ☺) wants to.

No, this post is about how you can have more fun with your partner(s). If you’re like me, you don’t just want to wham bam thank you ma’am/ miss/ mr. /  mrs. / xe / xem/ them. No, you want to get all your holes involved. And, there’s usually (or mostly) some oral involved. So, one way you can make things more exciting for everyone is to add some flavor to your sex play. Most lube companies offer some kind of flavored lube in their water-based category, but you don’t have to just stick to whatever flavor your local sex shop or your favorite lube brand offers. You can create your own flavors or lube cocktails!

One of our favorite lube brands, System Jo, even came up with a bunch of recipes for lube cocktails. So, my team at Sensually Yours wanted to have some fun with it and we tested out a few of the recipes. Be sure to subscribe to our channel for more videos and like and share the video. We never really figured out what a dash was. We just did one squirt. I used a shot glass to measure parts and just did equal parts. I guess they are allowing for different size batches. For the first filming we used a high end Vodka. It was much better the first time around. The second time the vodka was stronger and overpowered the drinks.

Pineapple Cream Cocktail

Strawberry Gin Smash (with Vodka)

Watermelon Cucumber Refresher

  • Vodka (tequila if preferred) 3 parts
  • Triple Sec 1 part
  • System Jo Succulent Watermelon 3 dashes
